A Diverse Nation

Hinduism encompasses diverse beliefs, traditions, philosophies, and forms of worship. India is also home to substantial Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and other religious communities. Christianity has a long and significant history in India.

Why Northern India?

Christian communities are found throughout India, with especially strong historical presence in parts of southern India and large Christian populations in several northeastern states. In much of northern India, Christians represent a small proportion of the population.

Christ in You concentrates its efforts in northern India, supporting local pastors and evangelists who share the message of Jesus Christ.

Reaching People Through Local Christians

Our ministry partners serve in areas including New Delhi, Punjab, Haridwar, and surrounding communities. They know the languages and cultures of the people they serve, and often minister with limited financial resources.

The Harvest Is Great

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”Matthew 9:37 (ESV)

Our prayer is that many more people throughout India will hear the Gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
